At the on-set; Gargle and swallow 3 drops each of On
Guard & Lemon in 2 tbls of water every half hour.
Make 00 Size Capsules:
4 drops Oregano
4 drops On Guard
4 drops Frankincense
Take every 2 hours with lots of liquids.
Daily Aroma Touch Treatment or consider a Chest rub or agressive massage to the large parts of the legs or arms.
For the Rub: Use 2 teaspoons of virgin coconut oil with 3 drops of on guard, 2 of lemon, and 2 of Oregano.

Use diffuser with Breathe or Eucalyptus.

A common cold is actually the bodies way of detoxifying itself to recover from an illness.
A common cold or a fever is the bodies way of increasing its circulation and metabolism speed in order to encourage the body to perspire as a means to ridding itself of bacteria and other harmful toxins.
Low grade fever is a defense that the body uses to kill viruses and other germs. Scientists know that when the temperature gets to high, germs growing in cultures begin to die. The same is happening in your body when your brain turns up the temperature when you get sick. White blood cells and other protective mechanisms in the body work more efficiently at higher temperatures. Getting a fever is an important part of your body's defense against infection. Draining mucus, perspiration, fever, sneezing, runny nose and eyes are some of the methods the body uses to eliminate toxins.
Of course colds can still be dangerous if the body does is not given proper rest, and protected from other bacteria and virus while the immune system is low (during cold and flu). Colds for some can easily turn into a more serious flu, pneumonia, or walking pneumonia.
Also remember that a fever can be an indication of something more serious than a cold.

I woke up in the middle of the night with the beginning of that certain kind of sore throat that signals a cold coming on. I discussed with myself whether to just go back to sleep and deal with it it in the morning or to get out of bed and take some OnGuard right then. The voice that won the argument was the one that reminded me if I didn't take care of it right then I risked losing one of my best oils stories - that I have had only one 2 1/2 day miniature cold in 14 years.
So I got up, dropped about 6 drops of OnGuard in my mouth, let is slowly spread over and down my throat and went back to sleep.
